My husband's cat passed away early this morning quite suddenly after suffering from an unknown illness for a few days. He was 7.5 years old and very much a part of our family. We are all quite distressed at his passing and will miss him terribly.

disclaimer: caution
must be taken when reading my blog. i'm a new creature and the
Lord continues to mold and shape me through his will. older
entries may seem to contradict the newer ones. there's a pretty
good chance that they do for two reasons. first, because of my
nature, as i strive for perfection, i will continue to fall short of the
mark and should therefore be thankful for his grace and should seek his (and your) forgiveness for having been so foolish in the past. second, i continue
to grow in him; and as changes are made, i have made attempts to change my blog to reflect those changes. in this event, please refer to #1. if you're interested in perfection, my blog isn't the place
to be. pick up a king james bible (yup, i'm one of THOSE people)
and read his PERFECT word.

Sorry HB, that's terrible. I hope you all are comforted... take it easy.
It's amazing how much our hearts can hurt at the loss of "just an animal". But they become a very real part of our lives, our family; someone to listen to us, sit by (or on) us, keep us company, amuse us...
Your photo memories are sweet.
Believe me when I say my heart goes out to you and the Spaminator.
My first baby/love is getting older and I hate to think of what my days will be like without her.
You guys are always in my prayers....
Thank you for your comments.
